Helper post

Hi! I'm Mari Carmen and I've been the helper this week.

This finally last week was about different kinds of leadership teams. Each group had to create a profile for each of the different leadership style. I was in charge of the Participative Leadership style.
I read carefully what were all the styles about. Then I made my participative leader profile in fakebook.com for school elections.

I found interesting the fact that depending on how you act you will get some results or another from your collages, employes, .... It's quite curious.

Thank you so much for been reading our post all this time
Hope you enjoyed them as we did

Bye!! :)

Making photos as a good Journalist.

Hello bloggers.

I am Lucia, this past week I have the role of journalist. For me it is an honor to be your eyes in the activities we have done in this last week.
We had to perform four Fakebook profiles of the four types of policy there.
Monday when we got to school, Linda was a sweepstakes and the four profiles were divided into different groups. They came together in pairs different class groups.
Then we prepared and conducted a debate in which the two stars of the groups exposed their ideas about their type of politician, being defending his candidacy and attacking the other candidates.
Here I leave some of the photos taken, the preparation of applications for our profile, authoritarian, with the SevenUP group, and the representation in the discussion of our stars Maria, and Ana de SevenUP.
Thank you for your attenttion guys and be happy. Remember that love is in the air.... LOL

Lucía.

Shining as a real Star

Hi everybody!!

I am María and this week my role is the "Star". I have already been star but it was quite different due to I only had to present our video in class. This time, I have been involved in a debate.
It was a good experience but I missed the round of discussion but it was a very interesting session.
Our leader to defend to was the Authoritarian one and we used three profiles of all of the our colleges, here you have the links to those one that we used to prepare our final profile for the debate:

http://www.classtools.net/FB/1136-NYkPTm (powerpuff teachers)
http://www.classtools.net/FB/1625-rnH6WM (SevenUp)
http://www.classtools.net/FB/1000-bbRk3e (power teachers)

In my opinion, the best profile of all, for the leadership of a school, is the participative. Although we had the authoritarian profile to defend in the debate; and it is a bit difficult because is quite difficult that people vote for a person how is going whatever he/she thinks.
The participative is the best option for me personally due to this profile is aware of everyone at school, opnions or advice even comments are take in account and all of the staff participate when a decision has to be taken.

The links of our own group's leadership profiles are:

Transactional

Transformational

CARMEN AS A CURATOR FARMER

Hello everybody!

I am Carmen Carpena, a member of the group 'The PowerPuff Teachers' and this week I am the... CURATOR FARMER!!

This week we have done profiles of fakebook to do a campaign to vote for us in a type of elections. We have had to explain the good things about our type of leadership (authoritarian, participative, transactional, transformational) to convince people to vote for us and not vote for the other participants. It has been a very nice and funny work.

Here you can see all the references we have used to do this work.

Translator post

My name is Julia and this week I am the Translator. But not only that, as four representatives were requested, I was part of them, I was the Transactional Leader.

Now I am going to describe the most important terms of this week.

- Authoritarian: this type of leadership directs the center on their own way. They also want everything going how they say, so they are going to do anything. They are egoists, and they do not use motivation on their workers. It could similitate with dictator.

- Participative: this one is more close to their workers. They hear everything they have to say, and do whatever so they are happy. They want their workers to share and participate in every project.

- Transactional: in order to have a good environment and the work well done, they focused on the supervision so they know exactly what they have to improve, also they want everything very organized. They use the reward/punishment style so they work harder and better.

- Transformational: this leader is the creative one. They want to identify all the problems that have to change. They use motivation and morale to make out of their employees, better workers.

- Leadership team: this team is the one that is in charge of the school. They have to guide in any circumstance, and also they have the power of instruction so they can manage the knowledges of their workers. And, of course, they direct the center.

Thank you very much for reading!

The more you collaborate, the more you facilitate!

Hello everybody! This is the last time that maybe I write in this blog because this course is almost over. Feelings of sadness and happiness come to my mind remembering this long trip of this subject. In my opinion, we have learned many many things, we have had really fun with our own group and with the groups of the rest of the class, we have shared a lot of things and we have lived such good as bad things but always we have learnt with those things.

This week we had to do four profiles in fakebook related to the four types of policy: transformational, transactional, participative and authoritarian.

So, in order to do this activity we met on Wednesday. We did not have any type of problem about the meeting and we spent not so much time to do the activity. We read all the information Linda gave to us and then we create the profiles.

On Monday our star and the star of Seven Up answered the questions that the moderators gave to every group defending their authoritarian leadership and face with the other groups that like us, they defended their leadership style too.

Well, the roles of this week have been:

-          María as a star.

-          Carmen as a curator-farmer.

-          Ana as an analyst.

-          Julia as a translator.

-          Mari Carmen as a helper.

-          Lucía as a journalist.
-      Inma (me) as a facilitator.

We hope you enjoyed this long trip we are really glad to have shared with you!
With love ...   INMA ÁLVAREZ

Last analyst... for the moment!

Hello bloggers, it’s Ana here again, but this time is the last one… I am a little bit sad, because taking into apart all the stressful moments this subject has given to us, we have laughed a lot and had a good time.

But well, let’s focus on the last week of work. This time we have to discuss about the leadership team at school and we did a kind of debate in class, so we had to chose which has performed the best, we were not one of those, but personally I think that we did it quite well and also we had a difficult situation because we were the first who had to talk.

For me the best moment of the week was this last time at class, was our last grouped work together and it is going to be hard not to come running to the university on Monday to be on time. Maybe the worst moment (as always) was to choose a day to prepare the activity because we had to be focused also in the portfolio so we had to change some of our plans... but as I have said it was going to be the last time, so we had to be more flexible, in terms of timetable if it could be.

This activity has been maybe not easier than the rest of the activities but it has been more “interesting” because we are really close to the elections so making the profile of Fakebook has been interesting as well as funny. As I have said before maybe the worst part as always has been look for a moment to spend together.

Personally I think that is one of the things we have to improve for other subjects. Working in groups is never easy in these terms but I think that we have improved a lot since the beginning even thought we have to continue improving.

Hope you have enjoyed our blog and maybe one day will return to this blog world.

Kisess!!

Journalist post

Hello, and wellcome to The Powerpuff Teachers blog! I am the Journalist this week.

The aim of the wark of this week was to create a video talking and solving the stuation that other group have gave us. Power Teachers was that group.

We met on wednesday, that day all of us came to my house and eat all together, so we didn't miss a minute, a almost inmidiatly, we started to work. As we all had already read the law and the coexistence plan of one school, we started thinking how we solve this problem. In order to save time, Lucia and Ana started to record while the rest though the solution. Then we want to a school near my house to record the rest of the video. Once we have finished we all came back to our homes.

We decided to assambly tha video in class, but I have all the video, because the camera is mine. I was very ill that day so I didn't go to class. I felt very guilty so I assambled it. As I was doing it, I thought about puting subtitles so it can be understand, so I divided the videos, and the other made it.

Once it was finished I uploaded it to Youtube, and also I save it in a pen drive.

On monday, we saw all the videos. At first we started to comment out loud the videos and what were their three good things, and also what we missed. But we were very slow at first, so we saw the last videos without talking about them. After that, Linda told us to go on our class videos and coment with the three good things and one bad. It was hard due to the quality of all the videos, but all of us have something to improve.

Thank you class for all your comment, we expect we can improve all of what you have told us.

Best regards, Julia.

Analyzing the situation

Hello everybody!

This week I am the analyst again. I think this is one of the most important roles because you have to analyze everything your colleagues have done in order to complete the activity and you have to pay attention all the time because you must evaluate them the better as you can.

This week has good things and moments but also bad parts or moments too, as the previous weeks. However, I think that this week has more good moments than bad moments.

First of all, on Monday every group had to create a conflict. Our conflict was about Pablo, a eleven year-old boy, who behaves badly because of a problem in his house. Teachers believe that the behavior of his parents reflected a violent situation between them.

With this conflicts, we had to create a piece of news in which the star was the reporter of the news. In our case, we did the conflict of Power Teachers which is about a P.E teacher who committed sexual abuse to his female students.

As always, we had the same problem… We did not agree about the hour and the day in order to meet and do the activity because everyone have different schedules. So, after arguing and suggesting everything we thought in order to everybody of the group could go, at last we decided to meet on Wednesday.

In my opinion, our problem is that we are always complaining about wasting time if we met but, I think we waste more time deciding because we have to dedicate time to this subject no matter what…since we have to spend much time if we want to pass it so, it is a reality and we have to accept if we have to spend the whole afternoon doing the activity. This is a thing we have to improve…

Moreover, we had a problem with the activity because in every Coexistence Plan we read we found students-students conflicts, always against children. Luckily, our colleague, María found the Coexistence Plan of the law in which specify every kind of conflicts.

On the other hand, there were not only bad things, but also there were really good things. For example, we had really fun recording the video especially when we have to record the advertisements which are really funny thanks to our good actress Lucia (our star). We could not stop to laughing with the outtakes too so, we had a blast J.

In addition, another good thing is all the things we have learnt with this activity. We have learnt what is the Coexistence Plan, every school have a different one and this is an important thing to know if it is a good school or not. We have learnt how to sort out many types of problems because we have also seen the videos of the other groups and they have different conflicts…

I think our video is a good one because we have included in the video many perspectives: the mothers of the some victims, how this problem is seen from outside (a mother who have just had a baby and know the school very well), the tutor and the headmaster. If we did not include the victims perspective was because we think they are affected and they are underage. Therefore, this is a thing that we have to conserve because we spent time wisely in order to do the activity the best as we could.

To sum up, I think this activity is really useful for our future as a teachers because it will help us in order to a better solve the problems we can have with other teachers, students and parents at the school.

I hope you enjoy this post. See you next time.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Inma Álvarez

Curator-farmer post

Hi there!

I'm Mari Carmen and for this week I was in charge of  curator role.
We worked on Coexistance Plans, that are those that must be followed in case "normal" cohabitance on schools get troubled. We had to record a documentary video about an example case written by another group and upload it to youtube.

So, we started looking for coexistance plans in primary schools in Murcia and what the law says about them. We compared both documenets and started figuring out how we could represent it. We thought about the several things we would take into account, such as which point of view we would adopt (girl's, P.E teacher's, mother's,..).But finally we opted for the adults interviews one in a kind of "Powerpuff Girls"news called "Townsville alive!".

In the overall of this week I feel happy. We only meet once, so I thing it is great we are getting used to be effective when it comes to planning and distributing work. In fact, we changed several times gathering date, but we all manage to find the best moment.

The more remarkable issue of this week project, in my view, was when I read Mariano Aroca's coexistace plan and thought "ummm, I can't find the solution just following this as a guide". And going strait away to borm documment where it was said the same but also naming teachers and other adults of the school as trouble makers.

We found out, to our surprise, that our primary school coexistance plans didn't contain conflect resolution for teachers-teachers, parents-teachers, students-teachers; meanwhile in the BORN  document it was stablish a protocol for all of them

It's kind of tricky the only ones considered problematic enough, in most of the schools,to be in coexistance plans were students.

Helping as a good Helper

Hi bloggers!

The end is near but we continue with all of you :)

I am María and this week my role is "Helper".

This week I have contributed on the recording of our video about the Coexistence Plan. Really, almost all of us have participated on the recording of the video.

I have to say that it has been a very good week, we have worked very coordinate and well so we have not got any problems at all.

It has been very fun and not so difficult and we have learned the Coexistence Plan, I mean the part of the current Law that is focus to it, and many things related to it, as for example that each School has to elaborate its own one and that the goverment only gives indications to follow.

It has been so good.

See you next week!!

I hope you like our video as much as to us.

:)

THE TRANSLATOR IS HERE AGAIN!

Hello everybody!

My name is Carmen Carpena, a member of the group 'The PowerPuff Teachers', and this week I am the... TRANSLATOR!

This week the work has been funnier than other weeks because we have had to do a video in which we had to show a problem in a school proposed by other group. In our case, is the group 'Power Teachers' who have proposed our conflict.

The words I have chosen to explain in this week are:

COEXISTENCE PLAN: Is a document related to the education field. Each centre have one and it consist in:

- Obtain a good atmosphere in the school.
- How to act in situation in which students do not behave in the way they have to.
- How to act if we are noticing a case of bullying.

http://ifpsmislata.edu.gva.es/joomla_EN/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=25&Itemid=35

VIDEO DOCUMENTARY: It is a way to explain a problem or to tell a story in a funny way using images, music and technologies. It can be said this is a way of enterteinment due to the animation and the movement of the video.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Video+documentary

SEXUAL ABUSE: It is a non-consensual sexual contact. This can happen to women and to men, depending on the case in which we are. To do this abuse, the offender can use objects, toys, pills, drugs, etc to cause pain or humillation to the victim.

http://www.pandys.org/whatissexualabuse.html

PROTOCOL: It is a document which contains a group of rules and procedures to follow in all the situations that can happen in public or private centres, in this case in schools.

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/protocol

OUTTAKE: It is a scene which is not planned to be showed in the video or film. They are the scenes in which the actors commit mistakes and they are not validate to show in the screen.

I hope you enjoy the post and the blog and find them useful! Thank you!

Lucia as a Star.

Hi guys!
This time I become again the star of our group. This week we us have to deal a conflictive issue in a center proposed by one group of our class. The issue was the sexual abuse of girls by a physical education teacher. As Star I had to appear in the video as a journalist. We have explained the subject recording different views of the tutor, the headtress, the neighboring and some mothers, all represented by my colleagues. To establish the solution or the measures figuring out to solve the problem we had to look for a coexistent plan of a school, also we found the solution in the current law, because in the coexistent plan only it found the measures to be taken when sexual abuse is made from student to student, while the law is in every possible way.

On Monday when we arrived to class we saw videos of all our partners and we have to value them, highlighting the three things we most liked and one thing we've been missing.

As a star I found this activity very funny, as we have learned about the coexistent plan an entertaining and fun way to make a video documentary.
Here you have the video so you can see our work:
Thank you one more time for your attention and see you son guys.
Lucía.

A facilitator once again

Hello bloggers, here again Ana as a facilitator.

This week has been a little bit surprising and stressful for all of us. We thought that the game was going to be the last activity as we are almost finishing but it was not, so on Monday after giving prices (if you were asking yourself, no, we did not get any price) we started with a new and awesome activity.

In this activity we had to invent a problem that could happen in a school and we changed the problems with the other groups. Once we have changed, with the problem we had received we had to think a solution and record a video in which we had to seem to be in the news.

So after this, on Monday we start looking for information (all of us in our houses) and we found the “solution” that real schools could have. After this, we put all this information in common and we think on a definitive solution. Now it was the moment to record us.

We had lot of problems (as every week) because all of us have very different timetables and while some of us have to be at the official school, others have classes or whatever, so it is always very difficult and stressful to find a good solution. After lots of whatsapp messages we found a definitive solution in which all of us could stay at least one hour in order to help a little bit.

So, now we were on Wednesday and we have lunch all together, so at four o’clock we could start recording our star. All of us appear in the video, so it was very funny seeing ourselves just laughing hours and hours, but the final video was pretty good.

On Thursday we tried to mix all the small videos but the girl who had it was ill, so she said that she could do it at home, what we did was to subtitle all the video in terms to help her.

I think, apart from all the problems we had to found a day to record the video, we did a really good job and all of us worked a lot in different things. I personally believed that we are learning to work in groups.

Star post 2

Hello Bloggers,

I am Ana and  this week I had a VERY, VERY important role, I had to be the star in the game Snake and ladders.

We had one entire week to prepare the game and so did Inma (who was the star in that moment). Me and Maria were been prepared what was really demanding because we had lots of works as we are on the end of the semester. When everything was almost ready we had really bad luck when Maria told us that she was not able to come on Monday due to medical problems. Julia was selected to be the star, so she had lot of work for the weekend.

We have to thanks our sponsorship (the rest of the group) all the costumes (they were dressed up as the PowerPuffGirls) and the encouragement, because on the game day we were really nervous.
We had to start the game (in my opinon this was the worst part) we were so nervous that Julia and me got completly in blank that means loose our time.

Everybody knows that in these type of games apart of knowing the correct answer you also have to be lucky, and personally I think we were not lucky at all, because when we started to answering the questions correct we loose our turn (we fall in a snake).

This is the summary of these important weeks, maybe we have not win but we have learned a lot and we had the opportunity to play a new game that could be used with our students.

Last but not least I would like to congratulate (in special) to Power Teachers and Keep Calm & Keep Organised because they performed really good and without nervous. Enjoy your price!!!

Star Post

This week have been different than the others. We didn't have to make an exposition or a slideshow or whatever.

This week we played snakes and ladders. You may think: What is that?
Snakes and ladders is game were several players are on a board, and they have to answer correctly all the questions they are asked, but it is not only that, on the board there are some ladders that help you go up if you get the exactly number, but also there are some snakes that make you go down ans lose your turn. This is how the board looks like:
You can say: why are you doing that in class?
But it is not that simple, what we use as questions were the ones we have done before withe the mindmaps, so we had to study all of them.

As an estrategy, if you can call it that, we chose the stars as soon as posible so they have all the time they need. We made them the mindmas by hand and highlighted were they can find the questions, so it is easier for them. And also our coach Inma, help them to study.

But we had some problems with one of the stars, she had a very important medical date, so she couldn't cancel it, so we chose another star (me: Julia). It was very difficult because it was wednesday, and there was no time so I had to study all the mindmaps as fast as I could. I didn't want that all the pressure off for Ana, so I did as I could.

Monday came, and the game started. We were the first and we were very nervous (at least me), and we answered wrong. The other groups were very well-prepared, and got a lot of answers good, but correct answers is not only what you need, you need luck, and we didn't have any. At the end of the three hours of endless game, we were the last ones, on the 7. But we had a bit of light because, we were going to continue the game on thursday, so we had time to study it again.

On thursday, we were less nervous, and we acepted that we were not going to win, but we wanted to do our best though. When it was our turn, we did it very well, we were around 20, when I threw th dice ande went to 23, where is a snake that take you to 6. Not only we were the last ones again, we were in a worse position. I think it was very awful, but it was funny as well.

Though they were very close, and everybody thought that the winners were going to be Keep Calm & Keep Organized, the winners were Power Teachers.

I am very happy for them. Congratulations Power Teachers!

My best regards, Julia.

(Sorry I didn't put photos, I couldn't find them)

CURATOR - FARMER POST

Hi there!

I'm Mari Carmen.I'm here once again, but this time as my first role: Curator - farmer

This week was kind of special because we employed time on studying instead of meeting on evenings to make a project to show on monday to our class. Well, somehow it might be similar, on monday we must display the knowledge we have been working on (about lomce's game) during this two last weeks.

Since we keep working on the new law of Education our main reference source has been the LOMCE. Looking for the complete version you can come accross with quite interesting recompositiongs. It was really useful and clear ANPE's picked up pieces text, because the new parts are in red and those part previously setted are in blue.

SHINE BRIGHT AGAIN LIKE A STAR

Hello everybody! I am the star again this week because is our´s turn to repeat the same roles as we did before. Well, we have to try to do them better and to improve our mistakes.

Comparing the twice I have been star, they have been really different so I have experimented two different experiences. The first one was a bit stressful because it was the first time we faced this new subject and I had to do a long speech doing it for nine times so it was really exhausting. However, this week has been more relaxing to me because I have been the trainer of the next stars which means that I have to prepare them the best I can in order to do their best in the play which will take place the next week.

For training them, we have written all the mind maps by hand because all the questions are based on them underlining the most important aspects in order to be clear about them. Moreover, we write the questions that are not clear enough or they have a very specific situation apart in order to comment them and to try to understand them in another way.

We are proud of our stars and the effort they are making for the game! We hope we have good luck for next Monday! See you next week!

 By Inma Álvarez.

Analyst!

Hi bloggers! I am María and my role this week is Analyst, as the first week of this subject.

The previous one was more difficult for me personally speaking, due to it was the first time I evaluate others and even more, myself.

Indeed, the work of this week is quite different from the previous weeks due to we are all, preparing questions, answers, and everything to be able next Monday to play the game. In which two of us will play against the other groups, and the winner, will get extra points.

On Thursday our group plus the half of  Itschool, decided which 10 questions of all about topic 6 were the better to play with in the play.

This week every member of the Power Puff Teachers, was active,  taking part on selection of the better questions for the play.  Even I have to say that I am very proud of  us due to we are the winners of the last contest!!! (*.*).

I have to say that is so weird, not having work from SOYER; I mean, not having to meet the whole group to work in a concrete task at home, but as it is said, everybody can get used to good life, and the good things finish soon.

So, have as minimum the same happy week as us and see you soon :)

THE TRANSLATOR IS HERE!

Hello everybody!

My name is Carmen Carpena and this week I am the helper of the group 'The PowerPuff Teachers'. The role of the helper is, as its name indicates, help the other members of the group in whatever they need.

This week the translator is Ana Góngora but she is star the next week and she had to study to do the best in the contest so it is me who is going to search the words to translate. Here is the helper to help!

This week the work has been a bit strange because we have had to prepare the questions and study for the contest, so, we had not done any new or special work.

Here are the five words I have chosen for this week, I hope you enjoy them.

"Facilitator" post

Hey guys, Lucia is here again as facilitator. This week has been a little weird since it's been a week of preparation for the big competition. Our Star Inma will be our coach of two stars. The choice of the stars who represent us in the contest was a raffle, since all confident and know that all those who were chosen will do everything to win. Finally our stars are Ana and María. The task of the other components of our group has been to help as much as possible to our stars, making it easier their work, since the task they have to study is quite complex. Monday and Thursday our teacher allowed us time to prepare our stars.
Overall our week is summarized in the foregoing.

As always, thank you very much for your attention.
And wish us luck for the contest on Monday, all with POWERPUFFTEACHERS !!
See you soon.
Lucia

..AND THE WINNERS ARE.... POWERPUFFTEACHERS !!!

We are the winners of the best video about "What have we learnt until now?" in # SOYER1415. Thanks to the votes of our colleagues, Linda and other teachers. We will enjoy our aperitivo at the canteen on Thursday.

Helper post

Hello, my name is Julia and this week I am the helper.

This is the last role that I had left. That means that I have already be al the roles of the subject. The aim of this role, as its name says, is to help the others to do the work if they need to.

In this case, once we had all the questions, we had to join them and made the cards, print them, and glue them to the cardboard. But it is so much work to do it only by one person, so we divided it.

I made all the cards, printed them and cut them the shape we have been asked. Inma cut the cardboard. And Maria and Maricarmen glued them all.

It might look like I had worked more than them, but it was very equal, because the questions were already written on the computer, so I only had to copy then in a table. And also I have a guillotine, so it made the cutting work very easy.

I have enjoy this role, because is not one of the biggest ones, and I prefer helping than directing.

I wish you like our cards.

I will write again next week.

Analist post

Hi everyone!

I'm Mari Carmen again!! For seventh week I was analist.
This is our second week working on the legislation of the spainsh education in order to prepare a version of a classic game about this issue.

We divided the 24 questions among seven, and one person did one more question for four topics  so that all of us could did the same amount of questions. Then holidays came. This periods are quite a dissaster for organizing gatherings because each one has her own plans due to vacations.

Days went by. We met on our first sky gathering as working group, but we did two groups because of schedules. It was my first time using it and I really liked the convenience and rapidity on this tool, I just love it! In just one second we were connected with our mates.  We put in common our four questions since when a work is revised by several people there's more possibility to correct something, make more accurate and clear questions,.... than when there's just one head. Then Murcia city's hometown group members take the charge of do the phisical cards for the game: one gathered group questions and shape the cardboard, other printed the questions in the specific measures, and other two cut and stick questions on cardboards -we divided cardboards and question papers in two, and I stick second pack part-.

Then for class returning we had whole class monday session. We had to evaluate, according to a same criteria one topic's cards. As my group was "native" last week we had to split in two, some worked with Itschool on topic 6 while the other half were with Platypus assessing topic 3. I feel like it turn out quite difficult to follow the same criteria for all the group's cards, despite it keep always our intention, but it is just my sensation. It is always hard to arrive to a complete agreement in everything. But somehow this make us learn much more than what we could ever learn on a theorical way with a explation. It much more meaningful if you live it (every week).

Apart from  class mates working -that you couldn't believe how much have make me grow up- the idea of laying out something as bored and tiresome as a new educative legislation -that will surely change by the time we were teachers, but that will be the same in essence-  as a familiar game to us. This make us read the law to reach another objective -win the game- and by the way read, reread and start knowing it in an enjoyable way.

Hope you come around next week!!

Mari Carmen

STAR POST

Hey guys, Lucia is here again. I know you've missed me, after the holidays we have returned to work, this time I've been the star of our group.

The task was to make the various topics that it was divided the LOE and LOMCE law and changes between them, once we had made the mindmap different groups each of them, we had to make four questions of each of the six subjects.

Monday in class our teacher divided the three hours on two tasks, the first, was to get together with other groups, dividing our on two, so that half of us work with Platypush I group and ItSchool group. We had to evaluate questions of all our colleagues from the topics 3 and 6.

We have to put notes from 1 to 10, responding to a number of criteria (clarity, content ...). Working alongside other group is very advantageous because you have the views of people outside your group, you can also learn things without them there could learn, such as having to put you according to the assessment and having to make a decision common.

The second task, we also split and we joinedwith other groups (PowerTeachers and) to move to a list of questions organizing them depending on what you ask. Which is responsible for publishing this list is the resident star of each group.

The experience of working with other groups, as in the previous task, itis also positive, as it is easier to divide up the work when more people and learn from everyone.
Overall, my job as a star has been easier than it has sometimes been to my friends.

I hope you liked it, and once again, thank you for your attention.

Lucia

Future teacher or future journalist?

Hello guys, we are almost finishing the semester and this week it was time to do the only one role I have never tried. All my colleagues have told me that this role it is one of the most funny and enjoyable so I was wondering to do it.

This third step has been difficult to do it... well... maybe difficult it is not the word, it has been different because between the beginning and the presentation of the work we have had two weeks of not being in Murcia and not seeing each other, I mean we couldn’t meet and we had to do the questions on our own.

Our facilitator decided that the best way was to start doing the questions the better we could and then shares them one day through Skype and so we did it. The big problem was that we have very different traditions and while some of our colleagues from Murcia were full of activities during the spring week, I had several processions in holy week. Finally we got to choose one day when all of us could share the questions. We decided what of them were OK and what questions we had to change due to the difficulty or just because we thought that they were not good enough.

After this process, we divided the activities of printing, cutting and pasting the cards among some of us. Finally on Monday (thanks to our hard working) we got some good cards for sharing.
On Monday Linda surprised us with another activity in groups in which we had to punctuate the questions of all the class in the topic we were assigned. I have been working on the topic 3 with Platyplus while the other half of my group was working with Itschool.

Regarding blogs about education I have discovered a very easy one to understand and really interesting about maths that teachers can have a look so they have more information about this “not easy” subject.

About the blogs of the rest of my classmates, I liked a love the blog of Platypus who did a really good job and share the information in a funny way (what it is difficult)

Hope you enjoy my role of this week.

Here you have some important moments of Monday.

Let´s go to translate with the TRANSLATOR

Hello everybody again!

I am Inma, the translator and this role is in charge of choosing the five most important words that can reflect and explain the activity of this week. In this case, the activity is a continuation of the previous one in which we did the two conceptual maps related to a part of the educational system and we put our conceptual maps together our colleagues´ maps. Then we had to do twenty four question related to every part of the educational system, which are already revised by our colleagues in the class.

I have decided to translate these words because we did an overview of Spanish Educational System in a conceptual map in order to know the basics and moreover the changes between the LOE and LOMCE and in order to understand and learn this information we are going to do the Oca´s game a little bit different.

1.The Spanish educational system: The educational system is a concept create by humans which represent how is organize the education in a country, in this case Spain, in order to achieve that, at least, the majority of the society have the same education.

2. Conceptual map: it is a kind of graphical tool in which you can represent many concepts which are related each other. In order to establish this relation between those concepts you can use connecting lines .Beside you can put in circles or square the most meaningful words in order to stand out them and use linking words which explain the relation between two concepts.

3. LOE: is the organic law of education of the Spanish educational system. It was published on the BOE the fourth of May in 2006 until November in 2013. Its main objective is adapt in a legal way the regulation the non-university education.

4. LOMCE: is the Organic Law for the Improvement of Education Quality which is a modification of the previous law the LOE and of six articles in the LODE which regulate the right to education.
5. Oca´s game: is a board game as of two players. Each player toss a die and he has to move his pieces over the board. It has 63 squares and you can progress or go back depend on the square you are.

Facilitator Post

Hello everybody!

I am Carmen Carpena, a member of the group The PowerPuff Teachers and this week I am the FACILITATOR!

The roles of this week are:

Mª Carmen: Analyst
Lucía: Star
Julia: Helper
María: Curator Farmer
Inma: Translator
Ana: Journalist

This week has been a strange week because we have been working in Easter Holidays, so we have had a lot of time for doing the work and we have had to organized each other in the best way we could.

In this case, we have had to do some questions to do a game weeks later. It is a game related to the Educational Law and it is going to teach us a lot of things in a different and funnier way.

First at all, I had to divide the work in order to everybody had the same amount of work, which was a very difficult work because this week the work was a bit strange and it was complicated to share out it equitably.

Later, we realized that we could not meet each other because we were in our villages with our families, so we had to use Skype to join the work and to correct the bad things we had done. It was a different way of work but it was so funny and very useful too!

In my opinion, the Facilitator role is one of the most difficult roles because I am not used to order people what they have to do and if you are the facilitator you have to organized every member of your group and also, you have to know all the information very well. Despite of this, it has been a great experience and it has taught me how to organize better the work.

I hope you enjoy the blog! Thank you.

Curator Farmer
