Star Post

This week have been different than the others. We didn't have to make an exposition or a slideshow or whatever.

This week we played snakes and ladders. You may think: What is that?
Snakes and ladders is game were several players are on a board, and they have to answer correctly all the questions they are asked, but it is not only that, on the board there are some ladders that help you go up if you get the exactly number, but also there are some snakes that make you go down ans lose your turn. This is how the board looks like:
You can say: why are you doing that in class?
But it is not that simple, what we use as questions were the ones we have done before withe the mindmaps, so we had to study all of them.

As an estrategy, if you can call it that, we chose the stars as soon as posible so they have all the time they need. We made them the mindmas by hand and highlighted were they can find the questions, so it is easier for them. And also our coach Inma, help them to study.

But we had some problems with one of the stars, she had a very important medical date, so she couldn't cancel it, so we chose another star (me: Julia). It was very difficult because it was wednesday, and there was no time so I had to study all the mindmaps as fast as I could. I didn't want that all the pressure off for Ana, so I did as I could.

Monday came, and the game started. We were the first and we were very nervous (at least me), and we answered wrong. The other groups were very well-prepared, and got a lot of answers good, but correct answers is not only what you need, you need luck, and we didn't have any. At the end of the three hours of endless game, we were the last ones, on the 7. But we had a bit of light because, we were going to continue the game on thursday, so we had time to study it again.

On thursday, we were less nervous, and we acepted that we were not going to win, but we wanted to do our best though. When it was our turn, we did it very well, we were around 20, when I threw th dice ande went to 23, where is a snake that take you to 6. Not only we were the last ones again, we were in a worse position. I think it was very awful, but it was funny as well.

Though they were very close, and everybody thought that the winners were going to be Keep Calm & Keep Organized, the winners were Power Teachers.

I am very happy for them. Congratulations Power Teachers!

My best regards, Julia.

(Sorry I didn't put photos, I couldn't find them)
