CARMEN AS A CURATOR FARMER

Hello everybody!

I am Carmen Carpena, a member of the group 'The PowerPuff Teachers' and this week I am the... CURATOR FARMER!!

This week we have done profiles of fakebook to do a campaign to vote for us in a type of elections. We have had to explain the good things about our type of leadership (authoritarian, participative, transactional, transformational) to convince people to vote for us and not vote for the other participants. It has been a very nice and funny work.

Curator-farmer post

Hi there!

I'm Mari Carmen and for this week I was in charge of  curator role.

We worked on Coexistance Plans, that are those that must be followed in case "normal" cohabitance on schools get troubled. We had to record a documentary video about an example case written by another group and upload it to youtube.

So, we started looking for coexistance plans in primary schools in Murcia and what the law says about them. We compared both documenets and started figuring out how we could represent it. We thought about the several things we would take into account, such as which point of view we would adopt (girl's, P.E teacher's, mother's,..).But finally we opted for the adults interviews one in a kind of "Powerpuff Girls"news called "Townsville alive!".

In the overall of this week I feel happy. We only meet once, so I thing it is great we are getting used to be effective when it comes to planning and distributing work. In fact, we changed several times gathering date, but we all manage to find the best moment.

The more remarkable issue of this week project, in my view, was when I read Mariano Aroca's coexistace plan and thought "ummm, I can't find the solution just following this as a guide". And going strait away to borm documment where it was said the same but also naming teachers and other adults of the school as trouble makers.

 We found out, to our surprise, that our primary school coexistance plans didn't contain conflect resolution for teachers-teachers, parents-teachers, students-teachers; meanwhile in the BORN  document it was stablish a protocol for all of them. 

It's kind of tricky the only ones considered problematic enough, in most of the schools,to be in coexistance plans were students.

CURATOR - FARMER POST

Hi there!

I'm Mari Carmen.I'm here once again, but this time as my first role: Curator - farmer

This week was kind of special because we employed time on studying instead of meeting on evenings to make a project to show on monday to our class. Well, somehow it might be similar, on monday we must display the knowledge we have been working on (about lomce's game) during this two last weeks.

Since we keep working on the new law of Education our main reference source has been the LOMCE. Looking for the complete version you can come accross with quite interesting recompositiongs. It was really useful and clear ANPE's picked up pieces text, because the new parts are in red and those part previously setted are in blue.

Not a typical farmer

Hello bloggers here is Ana Góngora informing,

This is our 6^th week of work and we are so proud about what we have been doing these weeks. This task consisted on reading a lot, but not in different articles, we were focused on the law and its changes. This is the reason why I have chosen Text 2 Mind Map because we can observe better the different documents on which we have found information.

Now I have been in almost every role I can say that this one had a bit of difficulty about references in APA and also about choosing if I should use Pearl Trees or Text 2 Mind Map (both of them have been used before). Apart from that I have been helped by my colleagues in every problem I had.

I hope continues steps of this week would be great!!!

CARMEN AS A CURATOR-FARMER

Hello everybody!
My name is Carmen, I am a member of the PowerPuffTeachers' group and this week my role is the curator-farmer.
This week we had to do a funny video explaining all the things we have learnt in this subject until now (TPACK, Treasure Hunt, Maps Proyections, all the resources we have used...).
It has been a great experience because this activity has been more entertaining than the others and we have learnt how to do this type of videos.
Also, in class it has been very funny because we have voted the videos of our classmates in the Eurovision format, with translators too.
In relation to my role, it has not been very difficult because in this activity we had not a lot of references but in contrast to this, I have helped to do the video, expose ideas... but all of us have helped each others when we needed.

Lucia as a... Curator- Farmer !!

Hi guys, I'm Lucia and this week I'm the Curator -Farmer of the group ThePowerPuffTeachers.

To organize the references of all the contents dealt this week, first, I collected information sources in apa style, and then I organized all the information and images that we used in the Pearltrees.
The Pearltrees is divided into three sections: Tips for Developing a good presentation, creative commons, and energy.

In each of the sections is found the information, images and videos that we used to understand and make our power point. In the section of energy, different energy resources we dealt with at our work with these references we prepare our fourth grade lesson about energy . Also we have helped a lot of fourth grade book.

            My opinion about my role this week is that it is harder than it looks. At first, I thought that only would have to write all what we wanted and that's it. But when I did it, I realized what I really had to do was organize all the selected information and references, jolting which was not useful to us . At first, it was chaos as they were many sources of information, but I gradually organizing it.

           I think my role is very important in tasks like this, because the organization of a good team is essential.

Working as a Curator-Farmer!

 Hello again to everyone! I am Inma and this week is my turn to be the Curator-Farmer of The PowerPuffTeachers. Comparing this role with the previous I had the last week, I have realized they are completely different roles and in every role you have to do an important part of the work that is necessary to complete the whole work. Every role has the same importance than the others so we have to go all out to do a good work. Moreover, I think this role is very interesting because I had to use new technological tools I have never used before.
