Hi! I'm Mari Carmen and I've been the helper this week.

This finally last week was about different kinds of leadership teams. Each group had to create a profile for each of the different leadership style. I was in charge of the Participative Leadership style.
I read carefully what were all the styles about. Then I made my participative leader profile in fakebook.com for school elections.

I found interesting the fact that depending on how you act you will get some results or another from your collages, employes, .... It's quite curious.

Helping as a good Helper

The end is near but we continue with all of you :)

I am María and this week my role is "Helper".

This week I have contributed on the recording of our video about the Coexistence Plan. Really, almost all of us have participated on the recording of the video.

I have to say that it has been a very good week, we have worked very coordinate and well so we have not got any problems at all.

It has been very fun and not so difficult and we have learned the Coexistence Plan, I mean the part of the current Law that is focus to it, and many things related to it, as for example that each School has to elaborate its own one and that the goverment only gives indications to follow.

It has been so good.

Helper post

Hello, my name is Julia and this week I am the helper.

This is the last role that I had left. That means that I have already be al the roles of the subject. The aim of this role, as its name says, is to help the others to do the work if they need to.

In this case, once we had all the questions, we had to join them and made the cards, print them, and glue them to the cardboard. But it is so much work to do it only by one person, so we divided it.

I made all the cards, printed them and cut them the shape we have been asked. Inma cut the cardboard. And Maria and Maricarmen glued them all.

It might look like I had worked more than them, but it was very equal, because the questions were already written on the computer, so I only had to copy then in a table. And also I have a guillotine, so it made the cutting work very easy.

I have enjoy this role, because is not one of the biggest ones, and I prefer helping than directing.

WHO SAID HELPER?

Hello again everybody!

This week I am the helper, there is only one role left to complete all the roles we have. Being the helper does not mean that I do not have to do anything important, by contrast I have to do all the things I do every week (Come up with ideas, implication…) and moreover, I have to help the other roles. For example, today my mate Maria could not come to class because she has had a problem. So, when Linda has said that she wanted to talk with all the facilitators because we had misunderstood the activity, I did the role as facilitator in that moment because Maria needs my help. This is the main function of this role.

The activity of this week has been to explore the basic legislation about our educational system. In order to learn it as better as possible we are preparing a game that is a mix of the Oca´s game with Trivial and we have to make questions about the topic.

This activity, as a game, has a prize so we are going to try the best as we can.

This week, we have done two conceptual maps about the topics Linda chose for us. On Monday, we compared all the conceptual maps about the same topic as ours that had been done by our colleagues of Platypus and It´school and we did a big one putting the best part of each one together. The next weeks, we are going to make questions and in the final week we are going to do the game.

In my opinion with this activity we are going to learn a lot about our educational system but the most important is that we do it in a funny and enjoyable way.

I am Mari Carmen Molina and for this time I have been the helper of my group. This role was the idea of one of my colleagues who thought that every week one of us could be the person who help the other roles so that is why we create helper.

This week we have gone over the first part of this subject doing a video with Moovly about what we had learn until now. Moreover, monday at class we did the competition in a different way, using the Eurovision format.

Now that we have already passed throught the fisrt part of the cuatrimestre and the end of academic year is closer, some events made me stop and think. I've realized how things really are. You can come across really hard situations. This subject is not just a project, it is a first approach to adults' world. The world where we belong to now.

I've been reflecting about the degree I'm taking, about how I am and what I aspire to. And I feel that I won't be a good teacher unless  I learn how to discuss my point and my future students' needs in from of their parents, teachers and classmates.


We must make our best in every single thing we do in our lifes, no matter whether it is at home, walking on the street or at university.

Hi guys! Lucia is back!

This week I have been what _ our group call helper. My role was to help my colleagues to perform their roles, in addition to the part of the work that corresponded me. This week our facilitator has failed to organize all that well, so we had to take command of our own. The topic was very interesting "Dark side of the textbooks", in our case we decided show this idea into a comic, but did not want to make a conventional comic, but rather something flashy, but in turn known for better understanding, for this reason we decided to use the story of red Riding Hood, it is known worldwide.

But we went beyond, we were the protagonists of our comic. I did almost all the work since I use Photoshop and I could well make a montage with pictures that we did and backgrounds or significant features of the story. Also I knew use the tool we use 2.0, which was the ComicLife program. For these reasons, this week I've exceeded my role, I have been more than an assistant. Both I and my colleagues are very happy and proud that the result of our work, and with the reaction have been our colleagues and teacher when they have seen. One more week, I hope you enjoyed and like the fashionable phrase says ...

Everyone needs a Helper.

Hello bloggers! I am Ana Góngora and this week I am the helper,

This week it was my turn to look for the information the facilitator asked me for and make some slides of the big Power Point, some of them were about how to make a good presentation, others about Creative Common and finally about energies (the topic we had previously chosen), in my case solar energy.

Apart from those things (all the members had contributed to them) I had to reunite all the slides of my partners explaining 20 tips about how to make a perfect presentation in a class and also explaining everything about Creative Common.

Finally, I had helped the Star in her big role trying her not to learn everything by heart and understanding (both of us) what our topic was about. It is important to remark that (even the star was quite nervous) she did it perfectly and we had beat last activities’ result explaining all the Power Point on time and everything as we had determine. Now is our moment to be more close to our “future pupils”.

If I had to underline a bad thing about our week is the fact that always we need to change little things in the last moment. We really need to understand better the activities and do them at the first time.

With this role I have learned that everybody is really important in a group and all of the members have to contribute, thanks to our weekly work we are improving day by day. Hope we will continue like this.

Helper Post.

Hello followers!

I am María García and my role this week is "Helper".

It sounds extrange but as we are seven members and there are six roles every week there is one of us that has this role, the previous week we called this role Star 2, because we focus specially on helping the star.

Although this role seems to be the "easiest one", it does not true because due to the reason that the person who has not an specific role, is available to help the rest of the members of the group.

So during this week I have helped to prepare the roles of my group. For example, I have looked for information for the star speech, sometimes I have organized the group, or I have made part of our visual presentation, and so on.

It is a good idea that the groups with seven or even eight members, those people that do not have a determinate role, help the whole group in order to prepare everything faster.
